The Artist
I'm Quinn McKay, an artist blacksmith and graduate of the American College of the Building Arts. Moving metal is my passion and I strive to create elegant handmade works that can be enjoyed for years to come.
I began my journey as a blacksmith in 2016, at age 15, when for a school project I decided I wanted to build my own forge and learn the craft. I took a couple of basic classes at Woodcrest Farm in Hillsborough, NC, but my learning for those first two years was mostly self-taught. My skill really started to progress when I enrolled at ACBA.
